  • 1987

    Founded and commenced operations as Pantech Hardware & Machinery Trading in Johor Bahru.

  • 1988

    Pantech Corporation was incorporated.

  • 1991

    Started supplying to petrochemicals, chemicals and palm oil refining industries, before shifting focus to the oil & gas industry.

  • 2000

    Pantech Steel Industries was set up to manufacture elbows.

  • 2002

    Started storage yard in Port Klang’s FTZ.

  • 2004

    Pantech Steel Industries shifted to a new, fully-owned 11,876 sqm factory and warehouse in Klang.

  • Panaflo Controls was incorporated in Singapore to provide one-stop flow control solutions.

  • 2005

    Pantech (Kuantan) began trading operations.

  • 2006

    Set up JC Flow Controls to distribute JC-branded products.

  • 2007

    Pantech Group listed on Bursa Malaysia.

  • Purchased 2.8-acre land in Shah Alam and leased 7-acre land in Port Klang’s FTZ.

  • 2009

    Expanded Klang operations on 4-acre land acquired in 2008.

  • 2011

    Set up Pantech Steel & Alloy Industries to manufacture stainless steel welded pipes and butt-weld fittings.

  • 2012

    Acquired Nautic Group in UK.

  • 2014

    Acquired 1.26-acre factory in UK and 7-acre land in Pasir Gudang.

  • 2015

    Acquired 4-acre land in Pengerang.

BusinessDevelopment Milestones

  • 1991

    Secured orders from JGC Corp and Chemical Company of Malaysia.

  • 1995

    Secured contracts with MMHE and Sime Engineering.

  • 2001

    Secured major order from BASF Petronas Chemicals.

  • Pantech Steel Industries secured first export order to USA for carbon steel fittings.

  • 2002

    Secured order from MITCO.

  • 2003

    Secured first order of long bends from Murphy Sarawak Oil.

  • 2004

    Secured order from Gas Malaysia.

  • 2005

    Became an approved vendor to Gas Malaysia for long bends.

  • Secured export order to Mexico.

  • Secured orders for valves from Sembcorp, Keppel Shipyard, Novartis Pharma and Pan-United Shipyard.

  • 2006

    Secured export orders for pipes, fittings and flanges to Thailand, for butt-weld fittings to Canada, Brazil and Iran, and for 180 degrees return elbow to USA.

  • Secured first order and two year price agreement contract for long bends from Keppel FELS.

  • 2011

    Secured first export order to USA for SS welded pipes.

  • 2013

    Secured contract for long bends from Pertamina and signed price agreement with MMHE.

  • 2015

    Signed price agreement with Petronas’ PrimeSourcing and registered in RAPID Project’s AML.
